Vetiver oil is thick and ranges in color from golden-brown to amber – brown from the roots of the vetiver grass. The oil is obtained by steam distillation but also by supercritical CO2 extraction. The choice of technique is based on the client’s preference. It has a rich strong aroma that is earthy, woody.
